  • Do I need to be a professional woodworker or contractor to shop here?

    Not at all. Whether you're a professional contractor, experienced craftsman, hobbyist, or first-time DIYer, we're here to help you find the right materials and products for your project.

  • What types of lumber do you carry?

    We stock a variety of domestic hardwoods including White Oak, Red Oak, Maple, Walnut, Alder, Ash, Cherry, and other specialty woods. Inventory will continue to grow and evolve based on customer demand.

  • Do you sell plywood and sheet goods?

    Yes. We carry hardwood plywood, specialty panels, Baltic Birch, MDF, and other woodworking sheet goods.

  • Do you offer custom millwork or special orders?

    Yes. We can help source specialty materials, custom profiles, and products that may not be regularly stocked in our inventory.

  • Can I order materials online?

    Yes. Contractors and customers can submit material requests through our website, and our team will contact you regarding availability, pricing, and lead times.

  • Do you offer delivery?

    Delivery services are currently in development and are expected to be available in the future as Hood River Hardwoods continues to grow.

  • Do you offer contractor accounts?

    Contractor credit accounts and expanded contractor services are planned for future implementation.

  • What tool brands do you carry?

  • What are Demo Days?

    Demo Days are hands-on events where lumber suppliers, tool manufacturers, finish representatives, industry experts, and professional woodworkers demonstrate products and techniques directly with customers.

  • Do you offer woodworking classes?

    Yes. Hood River Hardwoods will host workshops, demonstrations, and educational events for woodworkers of all skill levels.

  • What are Children's Workshops?

    Children's Workshops are family-focused events designed to introduce younger generations to woodworking, creativity, craftsmanship, and working with their hands in a safe and encouraging environment.

  • What is the Woodcrafter Showcase?

    The Woodcrafter Showcase highlights projects completed by local woodworkers, builders, furniture makers, and craftsmen throughout the Gorge. The goal is to celebrate great work, inspire others, and strengthen our woodworking community.
